Unable to find any MEPLA replacement screws for the poorly designed plastic original items on our "youngish"  kitchen cupboard door hinges, I designed and manufacture these exclusive items that are a simple replacement that WILL NOT FAIL once installed.

  We've had a number of the original parts (3 shown here on the left of 2 of our replacements) crumble under the pressure they are subjected to and on examination I could see the obvious design faults of the plastic item so these are cast metal with vastly increased thread-contact area.

 It appears MEPLA are no longer in existence so these are your only hope of restoring the smooth,silent operation of these otherwise fine-action hinges.

 The housing for these soft-close damper units (shown in Additional image 1) just prizes off from the main hinge if one needs to clear out broken parts from the original plastic item before simply thumb-screwing in these replacements.They are then simply press-fitted back onto the main hinge.  Fitting instructions come with the packs, though they are a simple straightforward "unscrew the old, screw in the new" if the originals have not yet failed.

They are approx 8mm thread diameter (though not any mm course or fine, but a curiously obscure thread pitch for a German manufacturer!)
